He did his post graduation MD ( internal medicine) from Kottayam medical college and completed DNB in Internal Medicine. He did his super specialty training in cardiology (DM Cardiology) in Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology Trivandrum. He worked as consultant cardiologist in Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology from 1996 to 1998, subsequently worked as consultant cardiologist in Ministry of Health from 2000 to 2008.He has been working in LLH Hospital Abu Dhabi since 2008 as head of Cardiology Department. He has published several papers in several reputed International journals.He is also a member of European society of Cardiology and European Heart failure society.
