It is now two weeks since we arrived at Fortis Memorial Research Institute for Helen's Surgery. We appreciate Dolly and her team right from the time we arrived in Abu Dhabi. People we don't know looked for Helen and talked to her. When we reached Indira Gandhi International Airport, there was somebody waiting for us and helped us through the immigration finally to a waiting taxi to Jasmine Guesthouse which Dolly had organized before we left Kenya. The place is good and staff is very supportive. We found other Kenyans in the same Guesthouse. Our first day in Fortis was to start with the International Services Department. Our registration went on well and we started by meeting Dr. Sandeep whom the time had identified for through Jubilee Insurance. He was welcoming and gave us the kind attention and discussed with us our condition and the line of treatment.
